Dallas Drunk Driving Lawyer – Questions
Are field sobriety tests accurate?
In many instances, no. Field Sobriety Tests have been shown to be inaccurate up to 35% of the time they are administered. These tests, while designed to test for drunkenness, are also designed to make an individual fail. This allows the officer to arrest an individual, even if they’re not drunk. For this reason, it is wise not to take the tests at all.
