What is the legal definition of “intoxicated” in Texas?

There are three different ways for an individual to be found intoxicated in Texas. The state must prove that: 1) the person lost the “normal” use of their mental faculties; 2) the person lost the “normal” use of their physical faculties; or 3) the person had an alcohol concentration of .08 or more.
