Can a person have anything to drink and subsequently drive?

No. The law requires the state to prove that a person was not "normal" while driving. Any impairment is what the police are looking for. If that only takes one drink, then the answer is yes it would be against the law to drink and drive. However, generally it takes more than one drink to put a person beyond "normal."
